What are Conjunctive Adverbs?

Conjunctive adverbs can be used to join two sentences together. Unlike a subordinating clause (words like since, because, although), a conjunctive adverb’s flexibility lets you move it around in a sentence. This allows a writer to change the rhythm of a sentence.
